Holiday Proofing Schedule
Nov 26th - Happy Thanksgiving! We will be closed.

We will be running a 3-5 day proof schedule after Thanksgiving.
Many times proofs will be ready sooner,
but with the holidays, please allow 3-5 days for proofs.
Schedule subject to change. 
Once finalized, please allow 5-7 business days for printing and shipping to receive your cards. They are now shipped directly from the lab via UPS.

Monday 11/30 will receive proofs Wed 12/2 evening
Tuesday 12/1 will receive proofs by Thurs 12/3 evening.
Wednesday 12/2 will receive proofs by Friday 12/4 evening.
Thursday 12/3 will receive proofs by Monday 12/7 evening.
Friday 12/4 will receive proofs by Tues 12/8 evening.
Saturday 12/5 will receive proofs by Wed 12/9 evening.
Sunday 12/6  will receive proofs by Friday 12/11 evening.
Monday 12/7 will receive proofs by Saturday 12/12 evening.

WE WILL BE CLOSED TO NEW ORDERS AFTER MONDAY, DECEMBER 7TH through JANUARY 5TH.

I would like to order - How do I start the Process?
To order, simply click the "order" button on the page with the design you would like to order. You will upload your photos after checkout completion. In the comments box, please include all important information, such as birth details (for birth announcement), or family names for holiday cards. You can also include customization requests in this box (such as color, wording, or font changes). Once I have received your order, proofs are sent via email and we will continue to communicate through email. If you have left any information out, no worries, you can always let me know later through email.

Will I receive a proof before you print?
YES! Within 2 business days, many times sooner. Please see proofing schedule (non-holiday) below:
Photos received by 5:00 pm CT on Monday will receive proofs by Wednesday evening.
On Tuesday will receive proofs by Thursday evening.
On Wednesday will receive proofs by Friday evening.
On Thursday will receive proofs by Monday evening.
On Friday will receive proofs by Tuesday evening.
On Friday (after 5pm), Saturday or Sunday will receive proofs by Wednesday.

Subject to Change as needed.
Then, after each revision, I will send you a proof until the final is approved. Please carefully review all aspects of your proof - including all wording and photos.

Once we get started, how long until I receive my cards?
Once the final proof is approved, I send the cards to a professional photo lab. Your cards will ship within 48 hours from when you give the final approval to print.  Orders ship directly from the lab via UPS, except for a few exceptions, which takes 2-3 days. In general, you will have your cards in hand 5-7 days after finalizing. Please note that photo cards, and press-printed items (labels, panel cards, etc) will ship separately.

I really like the style of a birth announcement. Can I use it as a Birthday, Baptism, etc.?
YES! I try to show how my styles can be used in a variety of ways. By simply changing the wording, fonts, even colors a birth announcement can become an invitation. Be sure to look through all my designs and just ask! TO ORDER ANY DESIGN FOR A DIFFERENT OCCASION, PLEASE BE SURE TO LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BOX. For instance, if you are ordering a birth announcement to be used as a birthday invite, you would ORDER the birth announcement, but tell me in the comments that it is to be used as an invitation.

Are the print colors the same as on my monitor? I want to customize the colors to match the baby's room.
Colors may not print on your announcements exactly the same as they appear on your monitor due to differences in monitor calibrations. Also, photo cards and panel cards will vary slightly due to printing styles. 


What format do the photos need to be?
Photos need to be in a .jpg or .bmp format in the highest resolution possible. If you are taking them with a digital camera, use the highest setting. The higher the megapixel the better! Scanned photos need to be 300-600 dpi. If your photos are a lower print quality, I will let you know. If you do not hear from me within 24 hours from sending your photos, please email me, something most likely did not get sent through. After you order, you will be redirected to a link to send photos.


I want my photos to be in Black & White - should I convert them?
No need - let me know your requests in the comments box (black & white, sepia, if you want a tight crop) and I will perform these actions for you. Also, I do basic touch up of baby acne, correcting brightness & contrast, etc.


Can I use professional (Copyrighted) photos?
Not unless you have a release from the photographer. By submitting your order, you agree that you are the photographer or that you have copyright license from the photographer to allow me to reproduce your photos in your photo card. Scanned images are copyright photos. You also agree to not hold me responsible for misuse of copyrighted images.


What is the Copyright on your designs?
I spend hours of time designing my cards. I do not use templates. I will not copy other designs, so please don't ask. Please remember also that it is illegal (and immoral) to duplicate any designs (mine or someone else's) for personal use, as well.


Will you use my announcement in your samples?
I will sometimes use customer's announcements in my samples. I always change the last name. If you do not wish for me to use your announcement, please let me know.


Can I re-order?
Yes, I will keep your final photo card image on record indefinitely.


What forms of payment do you accept?
I am only set up at this time to accept paypal through our check out process. Please email me with any questions.


Do you offer Gift Certificates?
YES! I can do gift certificates. I will send you a 5x7 gift certificate printed on the photo paper I use that will state how much, from whom, and to whom. Gift Certificates cover all costs - shipping, envelopes, etc. Please note that if the amount spent is less than the gift certificate, you will be entitled to a refund through paypal of up to $5.

If I am unhappy, can I get a refund?
I will do everything in my power for you to love your photo card! However, once the cards are approved and printed I cannot offer a refund.  Please read all information carefully so you understand what you are ordering (photographic card or panel card) and review all aspects of your proof carefully (wording, names, etc).
